When should the owner of a motor vehicle take the regular air pollutant emissions testing? How much money is the penalty for not taking the testing?

Motor vehicles shall undergo the annual regular air pollutant emissions tests after five years into production. The testing term is from pre-issued till next issued month of vehicle license. For those that fail to undergo regular air pollutant emissions tests, the motor vehicle owner shall be fined NT$2,000 and may be prohibited from renewing their vehicle license.
