What are the garbage checking procedure and operation standards in Neihu Refuse Incineration plant?

1. Garbage is inspected in accordance with the relevant regulations under the Waste Disposal Act of EPA.

2. Each vehicle of disposal contractors and private companies entering the plant is inspected. In the case of violations, minor issues result in refusal of processing and return of waste until standards are met; major issues result in a fine along with photographic evidence.

3. In both the garbage dumping platform and loadometer areas, 24-hour video monitoring and security equipments have been installed. The video feed is uploaded directly onto the incinerator’s website to be viewed and inspected by the public at any time, in order to increase the public’s confidence in the system.
