Neihu Incinerator is the first modernized incinerator in Taiwan that adopts mechanical incineration technology to process household garbage and commercial waste of Taipei City in order to achieve waste volume reduction, stabilization, sanitation, and resource utilization. In the process of its operation, the Department of Environmental Protection of Taipei City Government and the Taipei City Incinerators Supervising Committee supervise the incinerator. In addition, Neihu Incinerator actively strives to build an environmental management system in order to keep the operation and maintenance of waste processing in optimum condition, and to achieve the aims of environmental management, transparency of environmental information and continuous improvement.

• To effectively design our incinerator operation in order to save water resource utilization and increase energy reuse
• To strive in pollution prevention, continue in the effort to comply with domestic environmental protection laws and regulations, and implement environmental improvement.
• To apply advanced pollution control technology and equipment, and reduce the generation of waste water, exhaust gas and waste matter
• To train our entire staff in the knowledge and participation of our environmental management system
• To maintain the health and safety of plant staff, and endeavor in community relations
