Neihu incinerator is the first modernized incinerator in Taiwan that adopts mechanical incineration technology to process household garbage and commercial waste of Taipei City in order to achieve waste volume reduction, stabilization, sanitation, and resource utilization. In the process of its operation, the Department of Environmental Protection of Taipei City Government and the Taipei City Incinerators Supervising Committee supervise the incinerator. In addition, Neihu Incinerator actively strives to build an environmental management system in order to keep the operation and maintenance of waste processing in optimum condition, and to achieve the aims of environmental management, transparency of environmental information and continuous improvement.
