In 2015, the United Nations issued “2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development” and adopted the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). It clearly pointed out the direction of the global efforts in the next 15 years.
In order to let the international community understand Taipei has devoted for a long time to the environmental protection and the achievement of sustainable development, Taipei City officially publishes the "2019 Taipei City Voluntary Local Review ", symbolizing the new milestone in promoting sustainable development.
